The conference goal is to launch new collabora_ve research bringing together American and Chinese scholars in big data analyses informed by deeper understanding of the social science mechanisms by which social networks display and affect behavior.

Your Registration Package Includes

- Tickets for the banquet and/or workshops (if you registered for them)
Sunbelt Traditions & Guidelines
- We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover your time in China.
- Each oral presentation is 20 minutes. Please start and stop at the stated program times, as attendees may move between sessions to catch papers of interest.
- Session chairs are asked to keep presenters on time.
- If you are presenting, please load your slides onto the dedicated laptop connected to the projector 10 minutes before the session begins. Using your own laptop will cut into your 20-minute slot.
- If you use an Apple computer, please ensure your slides are saved in a Windows-compatible format.
- Lunch breaks are over one hour to give you enough time to enjoy Beijing food.
- A hospitality suite runs Friday–Saturday, 6:00 PM–9:30 PM in BICC room 303. Please cooperate with our student assistants who will close the suite at 9:30 PM.
- Please always bring your name tag. Some sessions, such as the keynote and the Freeman Award speech, require participants to show their name tags.
On-Site Payment (if needed)
If you did not complete payment by PayPal or an alternative method, you may pay on site. Please show your invoice or proof of registration. The local organizer will charge the fee according to your registration time: early-bird (before March 10) or regular (March 10 – May 28). Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
