Travel Information

Arriving in Shanghai by plane

Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport are both core airports in Shanghai with extremely large passenger flow and convenient transportation. The following are travel details:

  • From Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG): taxi ~ 50–70 minutes, about 180 RMB. By metro: take Line 3, then transfer to Line 10, and exit via Exit 3, Guofan Road Station. Total ~ 100–120 minutes, fare 7 RMB.
  • From Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA): taxi ~ 35–55 minutes, about 105 RMB. By metro: take Line 10 and exit via Exit 3, Guofan Road Station. Total ~ 70–90 minutes, fare 6 RMB.

Arriving in Shanghai by train

For optimal accessibility and connectivity, we suggest the following core railway hubs in Shanghai: Shanghai Railway Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. The following are travel details:

  • From Shanghai Railway Station: taxi ~ 25–35 minutes, about 55 RMB. By metro: take Line 4 (inner loop), then transfer to Line 10, and exit via Exit 3, Guofan Road Station. Total ~ 50–60 minutes, fare 4 RMB.
  • From Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station: taxi ~ 40–60 minutes, about 120 RMB. By metro: take Line 10 and exit via Exit 3, Guofan Road Station. Total ~ 70–90 minutes, fare 6 RMB.
